Dark Mafia Romance Darker Than Love by Anne Zaires
I love a dark romance and a great anti-hero/villain. This ranks as one of the top only being surpassed by this same author’s Tormentor Mine Series as a dark mafia romance.
Mina is brought back into Yan’s life, after a one night stand months ago, by the fact that he feels she betrayed him. Although he shouldn’t have feelings for her they are drawn together. Both of them are trained killers so how can they come together? Both have warped feelings about love and trust due to previous experiences.
I loved watching Yan fall especially. From someone who couldn’t even grasp the concept of love to falling in love was amazing. And of course the book is filled with action packed scenes. The loves scenes are beyond steamy and this couple’s chemistry is off the charts.
If you love a dark contemporary romance I highly recommend.
