Mafia Romance Book Painted Scars by Neva Altaj
I am in awe of these authors that continually come up with unique plots/concepts for mafia romances and this is truly a phenomenal mafia romance book.
Roman is head of the Bratva but he is in a wheelchair due to an “accident” and there are rumblings around the bratva that he is not equipped to be an adequate head because he is unmarried and disabled. So, he and his “underboss” concoct a way to extort a woman into being his pretend wife. Nina wants to save her father’s life because he has ripped off the Bratva so she agrees to this pretend marriage but she is not happy about the arrangement and makes this known to Roman. This is a definite enemies to lovers arranged marriage story and I was all for it.
This book was wonderfully written. A thrilling and emotional ride. Storyline was engrossing, characters complex and chemistry off the charts hot. I extremely enjoyed this mafia romance. I loved the dance between Roman and Nina and how they grew to love one another. I highly recommend this one.
