Michelle Heard has a new fan and I am ready to devour her backlist. This mafia romance novel was tops. This is book three in her Sinners Series. It is the story of Liam and Kiara.

Liam is the head of the Irish mafia in Chicago but he has a “legit” construction business that acts as a front. Kiara comes to work for the business as a receptionist not aware of the criminal undertones. When she begins to work with Liam they develop a relationship. It’s always a plus when the boss/assistant trope is mixed with mafia stories.

What I loved about this book was that it was heavily couple focused. Not a lot of “mafia business” but the evolution of the couple’s relationship. I also loved the side characters and I absolutely adored the multiple epilogues and wished they continued on…I didn’t want them to stop.

I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
