She was never supposed to walk into my club.
But she did.

I shouldn’t have looked twice at her.
But I did.

The criminal underworld is no place for a girl like her.

One night with Katerina isn’t enough, but men like me can’t afford to be weak.
So, I tell her to leave me behind.

She does, but not before she sees something she shouldn’t.

When she goes into hiding, it’s my duty to hunt her down.
I have a job to do, and she needs to disappear for good.

But four years later, Kat isn’t alone anymore.
And the little boy right beside her looks just like me.

I don’t even know where to begin or what to say….it was that good.

It is hard to find a really good mafia romance. I mean one with great character development, plausible plot, extraordinary chemistry between the hero and heroine and plenty of action. This book had it all.

Lev and Katerina (Kat) meet in a nightclub managed by Lev. Instantly drawn to her and protective of her Lev nurses her through an accidental drug intoxication. But don’t get it twisted…along with the sweet comes the dangerous in Lev as he works for the Russian mafia. Soon Lev and Kat become embroiled in what they term appropriately a “clusterf***” and they must battle the external and the internal barriers to their love.

This was a exciting and captivating book. Very well written and fast paced. The couple went through much and they still don’t get their happily ever after because the book ends on one heck of a cliffhanger.

I highly recommend this one and I can’t wait until the next episode.
