What a hell of a story. I don’t normally read forbidden romance but I am so glad I took a chance on this billionaire romance novel.
Jett is a jaded arrogant prick of a defense attorney and he is engaged to a total bitch Rachel. He knows she is a bitch but he thinks that she is perfect for him because he is an asshole and they are both society climbers and will complement each other. Then her daughter comes to visit. Raven is the total opposite of her mother. She is sweet and innocent and Jett wants her from the moment he sees her.
I’ve read other books by this author and she has a talent for writing bad boys and Jett was one of the worst but it was sweet watching him fall. This book could be classified as erotica because the basis of their relationship in the beginning is purely physical but leads to so much more.
Very well written and fast paced. I read in one sitting. Not for the faint of heart and check the trigger warnings. Highly recommend this taboo/forbidden romance.
