How does a writer make dub con romantic? I’ve always hated it but this author does such a good job of writing it especially in this dark romance book.
Dylan (heroine) was sent $500,000 through the mail by her uncle. The money didn’t belong to her but belonged to Russian arms dealer/criminal Ivan. And he wants his money. He shows up at Dylan’s door and the magic happens.
Be warned that this is smut to the smuttiest degree. The sex gets primal and there is a lot of taking off the belt for punishments. If you have read Zoe Blake before you should be ok. If not this book has trigger warnings galore. But I enjoyed it. I am a sucker for a Russian bad boy billionaire.
